This course covers various steps in the preparation of pharmaceutical products from research and development activities, testing products invitro, invivo, and in human subjects, to marketing the product. In addition this course will include an overview of the good clinical practices and good pharmacovigilance practices including all of the steps in testing the efficacy and reporting of safety issues related to pharmaceutical products that are needed to prepare and submit new drug submissions to Health Canada and to maintain the drug on the market.
This course is intended primarily for students wishing to pursue a career in the pharmaceutical industry, in Clinical Research, Drug Safety, and Pharmacovigilance.
