BRC in Food Industry
According to BRC, “the Standard is designed to provide certification for food manufacturers who implement good manufacturing practices and have the supporting quality management systems to produce safe, legal product meeting their customer’s quality requirements.”
This new short course have 3 sessions (Total of 18 hours – 3 Consecutive Saturdays).

Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care (MOHLTC) has confirmed that our Food Handling Certificate Program is now considered equivalent to the MOHLTC Food Handler Training Program

AAPS food handler training program is deemed to be equivalent to the training and certification offered by local public health units. All publics health units in Ontario will accept certification issued by AAPS.
If you are planning on working in foodservice or if working in a kitchen and need certification or if you have employees who need certification, contact us. New Ontario legislation is very strict on food preparers in today’s kitchens therefore anyone who is employed where food is prepared, processed, served, packaged or stored needs to have the food handling certificate. This includes restaurants, fast food take-out, cafeterias, nursing homes, hot dog vendors and childcare facilities that prepare food or serve food.
