CAN13 Cannabis Retail Management

This course is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of cannabis retail licensing and operations. Course material will focus on licensing application requirements, retail management, inventory management, store design and staff development. Techniques and strategies related to community engagement, as well as marketing and advertising restrictions as they relate to the cannabis industry, will also be highlighted. Upon completion, students will be capable of anticipating and managing retail problems by applying the relevant knowledge and skills they have acquired and formulate creative retail strategies and solutions around customer care, store operations, merchandising and community outreach.
