What does AAPS offer online?

AAPS online includes recorded instructor certificate courses filled with practical examples that challenge you to apply what you’ve learned to the real world in which you’ll work and pursue your dreams.

With AAPS online students enjoy a Web-based learning experience that allows you to access study materials online. It’s the ideal choice for students who prefer a more engaging, computer-based learning environment and who cannot attend traditional classes.

Why should I take online courses? / For whom are online courses best suited?

If you are interested in improving and advancing your career but are unable to attend classes due to your location, responsibilities or other reasons, then online learning is the perfect fit for you.

What are the requirements for online courses?

Academic: The academic prerequisites for our online programs are the same as the prerequisites for in-class programs. Click here for more information on these prerequisites.

Technical: A computer or mobile device with internet access is required. The ability to view various document formats including PDF, Word and PowerPoint files is also required.

What support do I receive as an online student? / What do I do if I have questions during my course?

Academic: You can communicate with your instructor via email anytime. In addition to the email option you will be given the opportunity to attend three one hour live online meeting with your instructor to give you a chance to discuss the course material, ask any questions and assess your progress.

Are the certifications/diplomas different for online students than for in-class students?

All of our online and in-class programs are approved by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities. The requirements for each certificate/diploma are the same for both online and in-class programs.

The only difference is that online programs are not eligible for financial aid.

How do I receive my certificate/diploma?

After completion of all modules in a course, AAPS will issue a course certificate and mail it to you.

Upon completion of all courses in a program, AAPS will issue a diploma and mail it to you.

How long do I have to complete an online course?

Courses must be completed within 4 weeks of the date of enrollment. This include completion of all assessments.

What system is used for online learning? / How are online learning courses presented?

eAAPS uses a mix of the Blackboard learning platform and PowerPoint to present class material. Some material is also provided as PDFs.

How do I enroll?

You can enroll by clicking on the REGISTER NOW link on each course information page.

If this is your first registration, you will be prompted to create an AAPS account by clicking on the ‘Setup AAPS Account’ button. The account information will be displayed immediately and an email containing your account information will be sent to the email address entered during the account set-up process.

Your AAPS account can be used for all your current and future course registrations. Once you have an AAPS account, click on the ‘Course Registration’ button to complete the course enrollment process.

AAPS’s administration will process the payment and you will receive access to the course material.
