AAPS’ clinical research program focuses on the global regulatory framework of drug development and pharmacovigilance, including Good Clinical Practices, Good Pharmacovigilance Practices, international guidelines, standard operating procedures, and Canadian regulatory requirements.
Students explore the analysis of raw materials, in-process products, and finished products using practical physical and chemical techniques. Training includes exposure to current laboratory instruments and methods such as High Performance Liquid Chromatography, Karl Fischer Titration, dissolution testing, infrared spectroscopy, and ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy.
The program also introduces students to the quality systems, compliance expectations, and regulatory practices required to work in a well-controlled manufacturing and laboratory environment.
Certificate courses can also be taken individually according to the learner’s needs. Students are free to enroll in as many certificate courses as they wish, allowing them to build specific skills in areas that align with their professional goals.
