DESCRIPTION:AAPS News and Events – Toronto	\n	\n		\n	 \nPRESS RELEASE January 31\, 2019 \n \nAAPS is pleased to announce that our services have been retained for consulting and application support related to the cannabis retail lottery held by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario. As only 1 of 5 lottery winners here in the Toronto region\, AAPS is thrilled to assist our client with this unique application. \nAAPS provided full support throughout the application process to ensure our client will successfully obtain their cannabis retail operator licence and store authorization\, as well as assistance with management\, compliance and regulatory support in relation to the retail operation. \nAAPS has established a risk-based approach to cannabis retail application support\, with a dedication towards compliance and working with clients to develop a deep and thorough understanding of the regulations. \nAAPS helps businesses establish best practices and ensure that our clients stores complies with the Registrar’s Standards for Cannabis Retail Stores\, as well as all applicable laws and regulations\, including the Cannabis Act\, Cannabis Control Act\, 2017 (CCA)\, the Cannabis Licence Act\, 2018 (CLA)\, and Ontario Regulation 468/18. \nSince 2014 AAPS has been helped numerous clients obtain their standard cultivation/processing license through Health Canada. As a continuation of that work\, AAPS is excited to begin this new journey working with our clients on licensing and application support for cannabis retail stores across the country. \nWe are only just beginning to scratch the surface of the vast opportunities in the retail cannabis space.
