Lean Six Sigma Fundamentals
These training courses are Process and Result Oriented with strong Applied and Hands-on component.
SIX SIGMA seeks to improve the quality of process outputs by minimizing variability in business processes. A SIX SIGMA Controlled process will have just 3.4 defects per million.
It uses a set of quality management methods, and creates a special infrastructure of people within the organization as “Black Belts”, “Green Belts” etc, who are the experts in these methods.
Each SIX SIGMA project follows a defined sequence of steps called in short form DMAIC and has quantified targets.
Lean is a production practice that focuses on creating value, removing non value added activities called waste and optimizing logistics. Originally seven wastes were introduced by Ohno in Toyota and later the list was evolved to eight wastes in short form called DOWNTIME;(Defect, Overproduction, Waiting, Non utilized brain power, Transportation, Inventory, Motion, and Extra Processing)
In this course we have merged these two schools of thoughts and offer Lean Six Sigma Certification Courses.
We also offer executive level training workshops to equip the executives with decision making and portfolio management tools to manage effective Lean Six Sigma Implementation in their respective organizations.
